Sprint 400 - lightweight Klepper Single

This lightweight, recreational and touring folding kayak is well-suited for day and weekend use and can handle up to Class 3* whitewater (only experienced paddlers should undertake this). It is light, strong, easy to assemble (see instructions below) and fits in one bag. Designed as a paddling kayak, it is not adapted for sailing. The frame is aluminum and the cockpit combing is in lightweight Carbon.

The Klepper aluminum frame not only has exceptional Klepper quality, but incorporates important customer-based improvements from the previous 'Alu-Lite' model. The frame is easier than ever to put together!

Looking to shed weight? The same lightweight aluminum frame (and a wood cockpit combing instead of Carbon) with a lighter weight PVC hull is the Smart Alu 400. The Smart Alu 400 hull cannot withstand as wide temperature variations and cannot be used for up to Class 3* like the Klepper Aerius Sprint 400.
