Multipurpose folding kayak, The Aerius Quattro XXL 585 is designed for rugged conditions. Same profile as the Aerius Quattro II 520, but adding 24 inches in length. The increased load capacity and maximized buoyancy and safety is provided by 4 integrated air sponsons. With fully inflated air sponsons, the hull shape changes from a V to a U. The latter mode allows for maximum payload and shallow water efficiency. See the difference in hull shapes in the figures below.
